Axiom of the Day

It's much easier to account for something that has already happened than it is to predict something that is going to happen.

A lot of people I watch on the news use past events to validate their theories. But they don't use their theories to attempt to predict future events. When something happens, they demonstrate how it fits into their theory retroactively. Thus they look clear-sighted, because they only have to use their hindsight.
